What's all this white stuff?

Well Addie girl, this is what it looks like out our front door today.

Welcome to the snow belt of Canada. Last winter we hardly got any snow at all, but that was the first year that Mommy and Daddy had ever seen a winter like that around here. I'm sorry you weren't lucky enough to live in Hawaii or some other tropical place that is warm and beautiful all year, but you are lucky to have a Mommy and Daddy who know how to enjoy the snow!

You're in luck! Because we get so much snow, Mommy and Daddy are experts at digging snow forts and we also know how to make a mean snowman. Mommy can't wait to teach you how to skate (maybe you'll even love figure skating like Mama used to do) and Daddy swears he'll still be good at snowboarding when you're big enough to stand on your own board. Another advantage to having parents who grew up in the snowbelt, is that we know where all the good sledding hills are and aren't afraid to ride with you on a crazy carpet or a GT.

I can't believe how much snow we have already Addison, What a first winter you're having! You should see how cute you are all bundled up when we go out. Here are some pictures of you in your car seat all nice and cozy and in your new snowsuit.
